About the Department
The Department of Chemistry is one of the prestigious Departments of the college and it was started in 1993. The Department is fully equipped with an experimental tables and good quality laboratory instruments. The Department aims to introduce a course on Analysis of soil & water testing samples to help farmers in the Agriculture, with the intention of testing fluorosis levels, which is prevalent in and around Kadiri, thus providing self-employment to the students.
Faculty members of the department are highly qualified, dedicated and competent in teaching as well as in Research. The Department of Chemistry has continually been striving for excellence in teaching, Learning, Evaluation and Research. The faculty members lay emphasis on inclusion of modern teaching technologies. The Department has separate staff Room and Computer with internet facility.

The Chemistry Department pledges itself to encourage in the broadest and most liberal manner.It envisions that it will be recognized by institutions of higher learning for excellence in teaching, and it’s Research in Chemistry with High standarsds. It also encourages students to take competitive exams like NET, CSIR & APSET that helps their career grow further.

It strives to create intellectually stimulating environment, promoting excellence in teaching, extension activities and facilitates academic freedom, diversity and harmony.
