The Department of Mathematics was established in the academic year 1975-76. At present,  this  Department is offering B.Sc.(Mathematics-Physics-Chemistry) Telugu medium and B.Sc. (Mathematics- Physics-Computer science) English mediumcourses.

The Department of Mathematics is one of the important departments of our college. Department  has striven to set high standards of teaching.  The  Department has succeeded in this Endeavour and over  the years, it has produced highly qualified and motivated Mathematics graduates. Graduates of this Department are distinctively placed in reputed institutions and organizations. It  has been  the cherished  goal of the Department to inculcate in the students a desire to excel, to demonstrate originality, to develop   a sense of responsibility towards thesociety,

Students are encouraged to obtain the necessary skills to be successful in the physical, mental and social aspects of their lives. students will be able to effectively use the skills acquired to help identify and vehemently pursue any objectives in a practical manner.

  • Thefacultymotivateandsimulatethestudentstodeveloptheirknowledgeanddiscipline.
  • The faculty encourage students to conduct student projects to develop their analytical and logicalthinking.
  • Students formulate strategies for solving problems and acknowledge the importance  of being intellectually curious throughout theirlives.
  • Mathematics has relation with many other subjects. We provide an environment where students can learn, become competent users of mathematics, and understand the use of mathematics in otherdisciplines.
