Department of Commerce is one of the biggest Departments in the college, it was established in 1975. The department strives to provide an excellence in the field of Commerce and Accounts by imparting value based, technical education among the students. The primary objective of the department is to make students amicable for changing requirements and shifting them towards people- centered, environmentally sustainable and social oriented as well as innovative in this global era. The students can consider selecting from specialized fields such as accounting and finance, banking and finance, accounting and taxation, business administration, applied economics, e-commerce, financial accounting, banking and insurance, human resources, entrepreneurship, and auditing, etc. B.Com (Charted Account) Course is very popular in the College.

After completing the Under Graduate level course in Commerce, the candidates can find various jobs at junior and Senior level in Accounting, Commerce, Banking and Finance and related fields such as Junior accountant, HR Manager, Business Executive, Accounts Executive, Operations Management, Data Analyst, Research and Development Manager, Information Systems Manager, Project Manager, etc. The jobs are available for degree holders of Commerce in Private, as well as Government sectors.
