Wherever there is a great culture, you will find behind it, a highly developed system of education. Ancient India could produce a great culture because it developed a wonderful system of education. In the Taittiriya Upanishad, it is learnt that Swadhyaya pravacana eva-eti"- "study and teaching alone" constitute true tapas. Education itself is the best tapas by which character is formed, strength of mind is increased, the intellect is expanded and by which one can stand on one’s own feet.

Sri Tayi Surya Narayana  Govt.College of Arts and Science ,Kadiri, is the result of the powerful vision of Sri Tayi Surya Narayana,the chief donor and  spearheaded by a group of highly committed and dedicated management team of  faculty members  to inculcate the core values of integrity accountability and empathy apart from the instruction of the defined curriculum.

The college is marching ahead with the vision that ‘Vidyaya Amrutham Asnuthe’(Through Knowledge, One attains Immortality) and emphasizes a dynamic digital interactive education in the learning process. All efforts are put to set global standards particularly to down trodden and disadvantageous sections along with the privileged sections of the society at affordable cost with all available huge resources and infrastructure in a own building established in a vast area of 27 acres of land in serene atmosphere.

I thank Honourable Commissioner of higher education  for the constant motivation and noble guidance with which we aim to blossom this  Institution  Sri Tayi Surya Narayana Govt.Degree College,Kadiri into a centre of Excellence in higher education targeting the economically weaker section of the society so as to enlighten, empower and make them instrumental in creating par excellent society.
